Raw cow’s milk – France

From the little town of Munster where Vosgian abbeys and monasteries used to make this cheese from the Middle-Ages.

Made with a soft paste and a washed rind with the addition of cumin before its ripening period, gives Munster its pronounced taste and smell. You can expect a fairly spicy flavor, without it being too strong.
